Inventory Control Clerk/Cycle Counter
Summary:
As an Inventory Control Clerk - Cycle Counter, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counting activities. Your primary duties will involve conducting physical inventory counts, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring inventory accuracy. You will work closely with the inventory control team and other departments to resolve issues and optimize inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Cycle Counting: Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
  2. Accuracy Verification: Compare physical inventory counts with computerized records to identify discrepancies and variances.
  3. Investigation: Investigate inventory discrepancies by analyzing transaction records, investigating potential causes such as miscounts, misplaced items, or system errors.
  4. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory counts, adjustments, and discrepancies.
  5. Reporting: Prepare and distribute reports summarizing inventory counts, discrepancies, and trends to management and relevant stakeholders.
  6. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as receiving, shipping, and production to coordinate inventory movements and resolve discrepancies.
