Warehouse Associate - 2nd Shift

Akron, OH
Starting at $19.00 per hour
Full-Time | We are hiring for 2nd Shift! 2pm to 10pm Monday through Friday

Jetpack Shipping is currently seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Associate to join our growing team in Akron, Ohio. This position plays a critical role in supporting daily warehouse operations through shipping, receiving, inventory control, material transfers, and order preparation.

We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment, understand warehouse safety procedures, and can effectively manage multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and organization.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Must have at least 1 year of recent warehouse experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with shipping, receiving, inventory, and cycle counting preferred
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or order pickers preferred
  • Basic computer and data entry skills required
  • Experience using barcode scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) preferred
  • Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, package, and stage materials for outbound shipping
  • Receive, inspect, document, and unload inbound deliveries
  • Label incoming inventory and submit required quality control samples
  • Transfer, organize, and store materials in assigned warehouse locations
  • Perform cycle counts and inventory audits using barcode scanners and inventory software
  • Report damaged, impaired, short, or excess inventory immediately
  • Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts, and order pickers
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Assist with cross-functional warehouse tasks as needed to support operations

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
