Description
• Receive and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect materials for damage, defects, or inconsistencies and report issues immediately.
• Ensure all received goods are accurately recorded in the system in a timely manner.
• Label, tag, and store materials in designated and accurate bin locations.
• Coordinate with quality control when required for inspection or quarantine processes.
• Ensure FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or other inventory rotation methods are followed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and inventory control procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP or inventory management system.
• Monitor daily inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and issues.
• Perform routine cycle counts and participate in scheduled physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and perform root cause analysis along with manager to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure proper documentation and system updates for all inventory movements throughout operations.
• Collaborate with Inventory & Materials Expeditor and Production teams to confirm material availability for upcoming schedules.
• Work with warehouse staff to ensure adherence to inventory procedures.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Ensure timely staging and delivery of materials to designated production areas.
Partner with Leads throughout Operations to ensure communication is received promptly in regards to potential out of stock issues
