Retail Stock & Inventory Associate (Full-Time)

Location: Koopman Lumber
Reports To: Store Manager / Assistant Manager
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM, with some Saturdays 7AM-Noon
Employment Type: Full-Time


About the Role

We're looking for a Full-Time Retail Stock & Inventory Associate to join our team at Koopman Lumber! This is a hands-on role focused on stocking shelves, maintaining inventory accuracy, receiving merchandise, and keeping the store organized and well supplied. You'll work closely with customers and team members to ensure products are available, displays are maintained, and the sales floor is clean, safe, and ready for business.


What You'll Do

• Receive, unload, and put away incoming merchandise.
• Stock shelves, racks, and displays throughout the store.
• Maintain organized backstock and storage areas.
• Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and stock replenishment.
• Process returns and ensure merchandise is properly restocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate out-of-stock items or discrepancies.
• Update pricing and product labels as needed.
• Keep aisles, shelves, and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist customers by locating products and answering basic questions.
• Support other store operations and departments as needed.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if needed).
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Comfortable performing physical work throughout the day.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and safely move merchandise.
• Previous stocking, warehouse, inventory, or retail experience is preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training is available.
