Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this position, you will support the warehouse operations by receiving shipments, processing orders, and storing/organizing inventory. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.  
Responsibilities 
  • Load and unload trucks with pallet jacks and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols and trade compliance standards
  • Regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50lbs; occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100lbs.
  • The warehouse Associate plays a vital role in our company by ensuring that our customers get the best workmanship possible provided by our installation crews. Actively delivering all materials to the job sites. Also performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
  • Perform job inspections with supervisor, visit properties to inspect installation work as needed.
  • Coordinate job scheduling between contractors and customers.
  • Ensure that all labor needs are covered for each job.
  • Oversee the scheduling of all customer emergency requests to ensure all jobs are covered.
  • Review and identify and customer concerns and find a resolution.
  • Assist shipping and receiving; unloading trucks (sometimes requiring the operation of a Fork Lift) and checking in merchandise..
  • Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins (according to organizational standards).
  • Maintains inventory control by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer (which may also include physical inventory counts).
  • Previous experience as an operations associate or similar is required.
  • Capable of multi-tasking within a constantly changing environment.
  • Self-Starter capable of functioning individually or within a team environment.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills.
  • Dependable and reliable

  • Basic painting / sanding knowledge
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software is highly desirable
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating inventory quantities accurately
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry and reporting tasks
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and order pickers safely
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Customer service mindset with effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and support logistics functions.
