The Manager, Inventory Management, leads the coordination and oversight of inventory-related activities to support business objectives and customer needs. The position includes managing financial aspects such as profit and loss, forecasting, and budget adherence, while providing leadership and development opportunities for associates. The manager collaborates cross-functionally to optimize returns processes, recalls, and supplier agreements, delivering data-driven insights and operational excellence to senior leadership.

The Inventory Optimization team is dedicated to enhancing inventory distribution by analyzing data to ensure products are available at the right locations, quantities, and times. Collaborating with cross-functional partners, the team drives sales and profitability through effective inventory control and profit and loss management. Emphasizing continuous improvement, accountability, and clear communication, team members apply strong leadership and analytical skills to support operational excellence. This team plays a vital role in advancing Walmart’s supply chain efficiency and delivering value by making data-driven decisions aligned with business objectives.
What you'll do:
  • Coordinate and oversee inventory management activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support inventory plans and initiatives.
  • Manage profit and loss for inventory, performing analysis, forecasting, and budget monitoring to meet financial targets.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location).
