JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40

Work Shift: (M-F) 6:15am 2:45pm

Job Summary:

Serves as the Inventory Assistant for Surgery, responsible for ordering and maintaining an adequate inventory, establishing and maintaining inventory controls in collaboration with the OR Control Inventory Specialist.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent is required. Good interpersonal, organizational ability, communication, human relation and decision-making skills required.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.
Physical Effort required:
Constant (67%-100%) - reaching, handling/feeling, talking, hearing, seeing
Frequently (34%-66%) - lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling, stooping
Occasionally (1%-33%) - climbing (stairs, ladders, poles, etc.), balancing, crouching, crawling
