Creditable specialized experience includes: GS-11: Perform supply planning and inventory management principles to develop and adjust time-phased inventory requirements, analyze usage data, and ensure proper balance of assets to meet mission demands. Conduct research, reviewing procurement and contract documentation, and coordinating with contracting, program, and supplying officials to resolve discrepancies, prevent shortages or excesses, and support procurement and production schedules. Independently evaluating data variances, identifying systemic issues, and implementing corrective actions; preparing reports and recommendations to leadership to improve logistics decision-making and program outcomes. GS-12: Apply advanced inventory planning supply chain principles to forecast material needs, identify constraints, and develop strategies that support mission readiness. Collaborate with multiple functional areas (e.g., procurement, engineering, logistics, and finance) to resolve supply problems and prepare acquisition packages or funding justifications. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
