Job description

INTERMOUNTAIN FARMERS ASSOCIATION, a regional agricultural cooperative, is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Cycle Counter- Inventory at the IFA Country Store in St. George, Utah.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Work with branch personnel to ensure that inventory policies and procedures are followed
  • Perform and complete accurate inventory cycle counts
  • Analyze book and physical inventory reports to ensure product accuracy
  • Safeguard company inventory assets
  • Work and communicate well with co-workers and handle stress while performing job functions
  • Able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from management in an informative and cheerful manner
  • Create needed signage for the products
  • Provide backup support to Office Manager and Receiving Clerk as needed
  • Help maintain stock rotation
  • Preform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS: Work hours have some flexibility. High school diploma, GED or equivalent. Prior inventory management experience desirable. Skilled at using Microsoft Office and other company software programs. Work around and handle hazardous material properly. Be able to stoop, bend, lift, push, pull, walk, and stretch repeatedly during shift. Be able to climb a ladder, lift 50 lbs., and be on your feet for the duration of your shift. Become trained and be able to operate a forklift according to company safety policies. Maintain a valid driver's license.
