Job description

We are looking for a top-notch, motivated sales associate. Hank’s is one of the largest independent furniture chains in the south and is a family owned company that has enjoyed 44 years of success. Our store locations span 3 states and total 600,000 square feet of showroom space in 17 locations. We also have an on-hand $11 million inventory for immediate customer delivery in our state of the art 150,000 square foot distribution center.

With our average sales person commissions exceeding $65,000 per year, Hank’s is an excellent place for you to achieve maximum earning potential. Our staff provides our sales associates with top-notch training and helps ensure that a sales person with a lot of drive and a good work ethic will be successful in our organization. Hank’s promotes our store management exclusively from the sales floor and our store managers average making $90,000 per year.

A great attitude, the ability to be a team player and working on Saturdays are all non-negotiable requirements for our sales people.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain their furniture needs.
  • Guide customers through our showroom, showcasing our extensive furniture selection.
  • Provide expert advice on furniture features, materials, and benefits.
  • Answer questions regarding pricing, availability, and product specifications.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling payments and financing options.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and company policies.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Keep the showroom organized, clean, and visually appealing.
