Title: Inventory Specialist
Location: Elmhurst, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Hire
Shift : 1st
Compensation: $22-26/hr.

We are looking for an Inventory Team Member to play an important role in keeping materials organized, production moving, and customer shipments on schedule. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with competitive compensation that is flexible based on your experience and background.


Job Duties:  

  • Pick and stage parts accurately for production work orders
  • Maintain and organize overstock inventory using FIFO practices
  • Receive, unload, and put incoming materials away in designated warehouse locations
  • Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
  • Package parts and materials for daily FedEx and UPS shipments
  • Prepare, label, and stage finished equipment for shipment
  • Assist with loading large equipment onto trucks
  • Perform cycle counts and help maintain accurate inventory records
  • Work closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure materials are available when needed

Qualifications:  

  • Previous warehouse, inventory, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Forklift experience is a plus — in-house forklift training and certification are available
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Reliable team player who takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment
  • Ability to safely lift up to 70 lbs.
