Maintenance Inventory Clerk
Key Responsibilities:

ï‚· Cycle Counting
o Perform regular, dedicated cycle counts of over 1,500 unique
inventory items to ensure system accuracy and prevent stockouts.
o Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
o Help identify and implement improvements in storeroom organization,
layout, and labeling.

ï‚· Receiving & Put-Away
o Manage the receiving of all incoming maintenance parts and supplies.
o Verify shipments against purchase orders, confirming the accuracy of
items, quantities, and condition.
o Organize and stock all received items in their designated locations,
ensuring the workspace is kept clean and orderly according to 5S
principles.
o Promptly report any shipping discrepancies—such as short
shipments, incorrect or damaged items for resolution.

ï‚· Kanban System Verification
o Routinely monitor non-inventoried Kanban stock levels for essential
supplies (e.g., fasteners and hardware).
o Initiate restocking requests to ensure the continuous availability of
critical items.

ï‚· Parts Distribution Support
o Adhere to established processes for assigning inventory to work
orders.
o Fulfill parts requests for Maintenance technicians
o Improve repair efficiency and work order accuracy by ensuring
technicians receive the correct parts in a timely fashion.

ï‚· Administrative Support
o Help with purchasing and data entry in our CMMS (MaintainX).
