GENERAL STATEMENT OF THE FUNCTION

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Mandatory: Must have at least a High School Diploma, or equivalent, and two (2) years' experience in office management, office administration, business administration warehouse/business management or logistics. Prior experience working in and/or within a warehouse/retail business is preferred.Must be able to deal professionally with internal and external customers, vendors, students and co-workers. Must have excellent written and interpersonal communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills, and an ability to perform at high levels of proficiency. Must have the ability to take initiative, use good judgment, demonstrate a strong sense of urgency and carry multiple projects through to completion. Ability to meet multiple deadlines with accurate information. Must have a valid driver's license. Individual must be highly organized. Communication and reporting skills a must. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task. Collaboration with team members and vendors. Strong work ethic and customer focus. Computer skills are necessary to manage inventory; the ability to input accurate data and retrieve information is necessary.This job is essential to the overall operation of the College and it's Mission. Therefore, this position may occasionally be asked to work overtime, receive call outs, work special events or campus emergencies, be on call and other activities as directed by the immediate supervisor.

Desired: Associates degree, or higher degree, in a business-related field. Experience in or with the physical operations of a large facility or educational institution. Experience with Workday Enterprise Resource Planning System. Forklift Operator Certification. Commercial Driver's License.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate all Shipping & Receiving operations and logistical aspects thereof.
  • Receive and record all deliveries and shipments.
  • Distribute shipments to applicable departments and/or personnel, while maintaining a tracking system for receiving and deliveries
  • Issue Warehouse stock to applicable departments and/or personnel.
  • Assist the Warehouse Coordinator in ordering materials for resale and maintaining inventory.
  • Assist the Warehouse Coordinator with inventory audits.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly Warehouse facility.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee and schedule campus full-time and part-time Couriers and student workers.
