Global Modular Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Agent to join our fast-paced, high-performance team.


The ideal candidate will have strong typing and data-entry skills, experience in the construction industry, and the ability to manage purchasing tasks with accuracy, urgency, and professionalism.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Enter Approved Quotes, Purchase Orders, and Material requests with speed and accuracy
  • Physically Match Receiving Documents with Approved Purchase Order, and Enter Quantities in Accounting Software
  • Track Order Status, Lead Times, Back-Orders, and Delivery Schedules in SAGE Accounting and Microsoft Excel
  • Maintain Computer Inventory Records, Material Cycle Counts, and misc Requests
  • Communicate with Purchasing, Receiving, Production, and Vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Assist with Annual Physical Inventory Count and Data Entry
  • Perform Data Entry, Filing, and General Administrative Support

REQUIRMENTS

  • Experience with Construction Materials, Vendors, and Procurement Workflows
  • Experience with Purchasing Systems, and Job Cost Data Entry
  • Fast and Accurate Typing Skills a MUST! (50+ WPM preferred)
  • Strong Attention to Detail
  • Ability to Handle Multiple Tasks Simultaneously
  • Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Tight Deadlines
  • Excellent Communication and Organizational Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Proficiency in SAGE Accounting Software, or similar Accounting Software
