ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Inventory Analyst supporting SpaceXAI data center and supercomputer operations, you will analyze inventory data, drive accuracy, optimize stock levels and material flow, and provide actionable insights for high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power and cooling components, spare parts, and other critical infrastructure). You will support just-in-time operations, identify discrepancies and trends, and help the site scale rapidly while maintaining safety, quality, and control standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Analyze inventory transactions, levels, usage, and discrepancies to maintain high accuracy and identify trends
  • Perform root-cause analysis on inventory variances and recommend/implement corrective actions
  • Generate reports and dashboards on inventory metrics, turnover, aging, accuracy, and KPIs
  • Support and analyze cycle count programs; reconcile physical vs. system inventory
  • Maintain and improve data quality in ERP/WMS systems; ensure lot/serial and location traceability
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, commissioning, and finance on inventory planning, forecasting, and material flow
  • Identify and drive process improvements for receiving, storage, kitting, issuance, and staging
  • Track and report on high-value assets and critical spare parts to support 24/7 operations
  • Abide by all procedures, work instructions, and standard operating documents
  • Manage priorities independently and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4+ years of inventory analysis, inventory control, or related experience
  • 1+ years of experience with SQL
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • 6+ years of inventory analysis or control experience in a warehouse, distribution, or high-volume operations environment
  • 1 + years of experience with Jira
  • Experience in data center, semiconductor, electronics, aerospace, automotive, or technology environments
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling)
  • Experience with ERP/WMS systems and inventory reporting
  • SQL, data visualization, or business intelligence tool experience
  • Ability to read and interpret procedures, parts lists, and related documentation
  • Process improvement or Lean/inventory optimization experience
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to work on-site in warehouse/data center environments with varying temperatures and noise
  • Comfortable with occasional lifting, standing, and movement in inventory/staging areas as required to validate data or support operations
