Industrial Designer

Elizabeth, NJ | Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine designs for truck accessories (bumpers, visors, custom panels, etc.).

  • Create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models (AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar).

  • Prepare DXF files for laser cutting and ensure designs meet production requirements.

  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to ensure feasibility and accuracy.

  • Assist in prototyping, testing, and adjusting designs as needed.

  • Maintain organized design files, drawings, and part numbers.

  • Stay updated with trends in truck design and customization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Proficiency with CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks).

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (laser cutting, welding, bending, etc.).

  • Creativity with an eye for detail and aesthetics.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Experience in the automotive/trucking industry is a strong plus.
