Key responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for workstations, meeting rooms, and conference/AV systems for the D.C. corporate office.

  • Support printers/MFPs, IP telephony, and mobile devices for end users.

  • Act as the regional hands-and-eyes for IT Operations during network refreshes, upgrades, and change/release activity.

Job description

*candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish*

Description

The Senior IT Support Analyst is the primary on-site technology resource for our client's Washington, D.C. corporate office and the regional offices and job sites in the surrounding area. Our client is a Microsoft-centric environment (M365, Intune, SharePoint) with Samsung Knox MDM for the Android fleet, and this role is expected to operate fluently across that stack. The first priority is always the D.C. office: end users on track, proactively supported, and issues resolved before they become disruptions. Beyond that, the role is the local hands-and-eyes for IT Operations during network refreshes, upgrades, and change/release activity, and — on a hybrid basis — a field-level partner to the corporate Senior Endpoint Management resource, contributing real-world insight to Intune and endpoint enhancements. This is a Senior support analyst position, not a leadership role; influence comes from field expertise and reliability, not from managing others. The ideal candidate is proactive, technically well-rounded, and comfortable operating as an embedded extension of the Core corporate IT Operations and IT Services teams rather than in a silo.

Key Responsibilities:

Desk-Side & Workplace Support

• Provide hands-on support for workstations, meeting rooms, and conference/AV systems for the D.C. corporate office.

• Support printers/MFPs, IP telephony, and mobile devices (iPads, iPhones, Android smartphones) for end users.

• Own workplace and mobility services for the corporate team locally, with the ability to expand scope as demand grows.

IT Operations Partnership

• Act as the regional hands-and-eyes for IT Operations (network, infrastructure) during refreshes, upgrades, and release/change activity.

• Coordinate directly and proactively with the Core corporate IT Operations and IT Services teams — this role is expected to be engaged, not siloed.

• Escalate, document, and follow through on infrastructure issues affecting the region using standard ITSM processes.

Device Management

• Serve as a regional owner for end-to-end device management practices: provisioning, hardening, security-baseline compliance, and decommissioning.

• Apply and enforce device policy in Microsoft Intune for Windows and iOS/iPadOS devices (laptops, iPads, iPhones), and in Samsung Knox MDM for the

Android smartphone fleet.

• Use M365 and SharePoint administration knowledge to support workplace and mobility services beyond pure device management.

• Our client manages roughly 2,800 laptops, 2,000 iPads, and 3,500 mobile devices enterprise-wide — this role helps mature the standards and controls behind that fleet through its Intune-focused corporate collaboration (see below), not by owning the fleet alone.

Hybrid Corporate Collaboration — Endpoint Management

• Partner with the corporate Senior Endpoint Management resource on Intune enhancements — configuration profiles, compliance policies, Autopilot, and related improvements.

• Bring field-level insight from day-to-day D.C. support into corporate endpoint decisions — what's working, what's causing friction, and where policy doesn't match real-world use.

• This is a contributing, non-leadership role in corporate initiatives: input and field expertise, not ownership of the corporate Endpoint Management roadmap.

• D.C. regional support remains the clear first priority; corporate collaboration time is secondary and should never come at the expense of regional service levels.

Regional & Job Site Coverage

• Own IT support for job sites and regional offices in the D.C. area, per the established area-of-responsibility boundaries.

• Travel regularly to job sites and regional offices as needed to deliver support and maintain standards.

Asset & Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate, current inventory and asset records in the ITSM/CMDB system for all regionally supported hardware.

• Right-size spare parts stock — enough to avoid service delays, without carrying excess inventory.

• Support periodic audits and reconciliation of assets against system of record.

Service Management & Collaboration

• Operate within our client's ITIL framework for incident, request, change, and asset management.

• Build and maintain a strong working relationship with the area Vice President and regional business stakeholders.

• Model a team-player, customer-first approach; contribute to knowledge-sharing so issues are resolved at the root, not repeated.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT support experience, including direct end-user desk-side support and exposure to network/infrastructure operations.

• Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft Intune, including compliance and configuration policy for Windows and iOS/iPadOS devices.

• Working knowledge of the broader M365 stack (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams) at an administrator/support level.

• Experience with Samsung Knox MDM (or comparable Android enterprise management) for smartphone fleets.

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification required (or must be obtained within the first 90 days of hire).

• Demonstrated experience supporting conference room/AV systems, IP telephony, printers/MFPs, and mobile device fleets.

• Strong asset and inventory management discipline, including spares/stock planning.

• Proven ability to operate proactively and cross-functionally with a corporate IT team — this is not a stand-alone, silo-based role, and it is not a supervisory or leadership position.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interfacing with Senior business stakeholders (e.g., area VP).

• Ability and willingness to travel regularly to job sites and regional offices in the D.C. area.

• Comfortable with installing Network gear and cameras in remote locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator) or equivalent Intune/M365 credentials.

• CompTIA Certifications A+, Network +, Security+

• Experience with Windows Autopilot, Conditional Access, and Intune compliance/configuration profile design.

• Prior experience in construction or another distributed, multi-site industry.

• Experience in contributing field feedback into a corporate endpoint management or device policy program.

• Familiarity with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM/CMDB platform.

• Experience with Wiring and following Wiring diagrams with CAT6 cable termination.
