Job description

The Desktop Endpoint Specialist position provides onsite desktop and endpoint administration/support for users and devices in Boulder, CO, supporting secure, available, and properly configured laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, software, and network connectivity. The role combines end-user support with endpoint lifecycle, inventory, vulnerability, software deployment, and documentation responsibilities.
** Position is Contingent Upon Contract Award**
Responsibilities:
  • Provide onsite desktop/endpoint support for end users, including laptop configuration and deployment and mobile-device configuration and deployment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and technical support for servers, laptops, printers, desktops, mobile devices, network devices, peripherals, and Government-furnished equipment used onsite or offsite.
  • Move, install, upgrade, diagnose, repair, and coordinate replacement of endpoint hardware; maintain accurate equipment and property-custodian records.
  • Install approved software, configure software for user access, maintain software/version/license inventories, and identify unauthorized or noncompliant software.
  • Troubleshoot end-user technical and connectivity issues involving PC configurations, drivers, printers, approved software, and network access.
  • Deploy applications using BigFix, Microsoft Intune, and Company Portal; support Windows 11, Microsoft 365, enterprise applications, Azure network file shares, and specialized applications.
  • Support endpoint vulnerability management using approved security tools and maintain secure endpoint configurations.
  • Support Windows laptops and desktops, including productivity software and full-disk encryption using BitLocker or other approved products.
  • Administer/support Apple, Android, and iOS mobile devices using Microsoft Intune; support Mac devices with working knowledge of JAMF Pro.
  • Install, configure, and maintain local/network printers and support Microsoft Surface Hub interactive whiteboards and peripherals.
  • Maintain hardware/software technical documentation, inventories, installation records, and SOPs; support cross-training and knowledge transfer.
  • Support classified/SPIRNet and unclassified environments as authorized and comply with applicable security, badging, and information-protection requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in related field
  • Education Level: Minimum Associate's degree
  • Clearance Requirements: Active Secret clearance required.
  • Certification Requirements: No certifications required. Endpoint certifications related to Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Management, Windows, Apple/JAMF, and ITILv3 are highly desired.
  • Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role: Hands-on proficiency supporting Windows 11, Microsoft 365, BigFix, Microsoft Intune, Company Portal, BitLocker, iOS/Android mobile devices, Mac/JAMF Pro, printers/MFDs, Surface Hub, PIV/CAC readers, monitors, encrypted external drives, endpoint vulnerability tools, software licensing, asset inventory, and user connectivity. Strong customer-service and troubleshooting skills are required.

Salary Range: $92,000 to $122,000
The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Diné Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
