Job description

We are looking for Tour Guides to join our Intuit Dome team! Intuit Dome is the home of the LA Clippers and LA's newest landmark for live concerts and events. The technologically advanced and basketball-obsessed arena and entertainment venue will deliver a uniquely intimate and intense experience that will redefine what it means to be the best arena in the world.
Our team is hiring for part-time Arena Tour Guides who will provide guests and visitors the opportunity for private, public and educational tours of the arena. As an Arena Tour Guide, you will provide an exceptional fan experience while sharing all the amazing details that make our building unique.
This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is not eligible for benefits. Due to the nature of this industry, candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays to support high profile concerts and NBA games. Additionally, you must be able to commit to at least three days a week.
What You Will Do
  • Be the face and voice of the Intuit Dome story, providing an engaging experience for our fans.
  • Provide exceptional fan experience to all arena visitors and tour attendants.
  • Be knowledgeable about all parts of the arena that are on the tour route and in the script.
  • Facilitate a group getting through the arena in a safe and effective way.
  • Interact with participants, answering questions, and providing entertainment.
  • Share knowledge about the history, culture, geography, and significance of landmarks and points of interest.

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications
  • A background in tours or in person customer service, engaging with a diverse range of customers.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Charisma and adaptability to meet the needs of different tour groups and fans.
  • An enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and expertise, particularly around architecture and technology.
  • Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.

Special Requirements of the Job
  • This position requires frequent bending, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.
