POSITION OVERVIEW
Responsible for all aspects of the human resources processes relating to recruitment and staffing. Identifies external contacts/resources to build candidate pool for organization needs. Partners with leadership to identify staffing needs and determine the best recruiting tools to fill open vacancies within the region. Additionally, provides support to the Director, Human Resources or Regional, HR Manager East with other areas of human resources on an as needed basis.

Licensing and Contractual Compliance:
  • Maintains strict standards of confidentiality regarding agency staff and clients and employee records
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements before start date by all new hires
  • Complies with all InVision Human Services policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
  • Maintains general current knowledge of state and federal employment law.

Administrative:
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify hiring criteria.
  • Utilizes efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Assists with job posting processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions.
  • Conducts new employee orientation
  • Collaborates with leadership regarding involuntary and internal employee movement
  • Responds to basic employee inquires
  • Tracks, enters, and administers information required in the company's HR system
  • Utilizes computer equipment and programs to provide efficient and effective communication and workflow.
  • Completes reports to update leadership related to staffing activities and issues
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Financial Management:
  • Provides full documentation of all expenditures made on behalf of the company in the form of petty cash, personal expense reimbursements, or other related disbursements.
  • Makes all expenditures within amounts approved by immediate supervisor or appropriate management personnel.
  • Makes cost-effective advertising decisions, in collaboration with leadership utilizing available metrics
  • Reports immediately any discrepancies related to the use of personal or company funds.
  • Performs other job-related tasks, duties, and responsibilities from time to time as requested by leadership.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A bachelor's degree in human resources, business or a related area and a minimum of one-year of human resources or related experience is preferred. Experience with staffing/recruitment or benefits is preferred as is fundamental knowledge of Employment Law and the corresponding regulations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
