Overview

Weโ€™re seeking an Editorial (Magazine) Designer to support our client, a leading creative company in the health space, in a contract role lasting around 2 months. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a high-profile magazine project with a focus on visual storytelling and sophisticated layout design.


Type: Contract, Hybrid in NYC

Schedule: Regular day hours

Duration: 2 months expected

Pay: $65 - $84/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible


Editorial (Magazine) Designer Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the visual concept for a new magazine publication.
  • Design and implement multi-page editorial layouts ensuring consistency and clarity.
  • Develop typographic systems and visual hierarchies to enhance readability.
  • Apply Scandinavian-inspired design principles to create a clean and elevated editorial experience.
  • Collaborate closely with the Design Director and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
