Job description

Interventional Cardiologist Opportunity

Our client is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join their team in Texarkana, TX. The ideal candidate will have experience in interventional cardiology and be willing to work in a hospital-employed, nonprofit setting. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside 4 Interventional Cardiologists with APP support, focusing on coronary care near the state lines of Texas and Arkansas.

Key Responsibilities

Provide interventional cardiology services, work in hospital and clinic settings, participate in on-call schedule, collaborate with other healthcare professionals.

Schedule and Shift Details

Workweek: Monday - Thursday: majority of physicians doing half day of clinic and half day of hospital/procedures. Fridays: Some physicians have clinic every other Friday, every Friday, or PRN Friday. Call schedule: Interventionalists take an average of 6-8 days of primary call mixed with back-up call per month. Call is 24-hour shift paid per 24-hour shift. Only MDs participate in call. Back up Call: Interventional will be on back up when a General Cardio is on call in the event of a STEMI or stent placement is needed.
