Job description

Interventional Radiology Position

Schedule: Traditional work week plus call and hospital responsibilities that include evenings and weekends. Clinic, IR, and call responsibilities. Call: Call shared equally with members of the Interventional Radiology Department.

The Interventional Radiology provider team will include four (4) Interventional Radiologists, and five (5) Advanced Practice Providers trained in support of the Interventional Radiology practice. Hospital Call is split between Radiologists and APPs to minimize call burden and after-hours support requirements. Primary call location will be in Boise at SARMC; with Radiologists responsible for Weeknight and Weekend Interventional Call at SARMC, and APPs covering weekend days in Boise and Nampa for non-invasive IR support.

Requirements: • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree; • Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA residency program in Radiology; • Successful completion of an accredited Fellowship in Interventional Radiology • Obtain Idaho and Oregon medical licensure and granting of privileges at SARMC- Boise and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed; • Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA.
