The Interventional Radiology Tech provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. This role follows standards of safe radiation practice and demonstrates leadership abilities and is a role model for other associate technologists, while also acting as a clinical resource to the unit personnel and assures current standards of practice for the unit.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

  • One year imaging experience strongly preferred
  • HS/GED required
  • Associates degree strongly preferred
  • Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required
  • Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only)
  • Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required
  • ACLS through American Heart Association preferred

Physical Requirements Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)
