Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology (IR)
Facility: WellSpan York Hospital
Location: 1001 S George St, York, PA 17403
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
Schedule: 4x10-Hour
Note: IR + Cath Lab experience required | On-call required (30-min response) | EPIC experience preferred
Position Overview:
The Interventional Radiology RN provides specialized nursing care during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, ensuring patient safety, monitoring, and support throughout diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
Job Duties:
  • Assist with IR and vascular procedures (angioplasty, stenting, angiography)
  • Monitor patients during procedures, including sedation and cardiac rhythm
  • Administer medications and manage IV access
  • Perform sheath removal and monitor post-procedure recovery
  • Ensure radiation safety and compliance with protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and procedural team

Requirements:
Licensure: Active RN License (PA or Compact State)
Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years IR/Cath Lab experience required
Certifications:
  • BLS - Required
  • ACLS - Required

Other Requirements:
  • On-call required (weekends, holidays, off-shift coverage)
  • 30-minute response time required
  • EPIC experience preferred
