Interventional Radiology RN

Location: Savannah, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with on-call responsibilities.

Job Description: Join a high-acuity Interventional Radiology unit within a Level 1 Trauma Center. Our team is dedicated to providing cutting-edge care to a diverse patient population, including advanced procedures like thrombectomy, port placements, and trauma interventions.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer critical care management and support to patients in the Interventional Radiology unit.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of RN's and Technicians to ensure high-level patient safety and care.
  • Perform and assist with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Atherectomy, TIPS, and EVAR.
  • Monitor patient progress and responses during and post procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Critical Care / Interventional Radiology nursing experience.
  • Current certifications in ACLS and BLS are required.
  • Experience with critical care management, stroke, and trauma care is essential.
