Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, current IR experience, and on-call availability.

Details
  • Interventional Radiology (IR) unit within a hospital setting
  • Unit performs image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients with cancer, pain, diabetes, liver, kidney, and other conditions
  • Minimally invasive, image-guided procedures used to diagnose and treat diseases across nearly every organ system
  • Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) with no block scheduling and a rotating day off
  • On-call rotation required: one week of call every four weeks, with daily after-hours call from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM and 24-hour weekend call
  • Holiday coverage based on unit need
  • Epic Radiant EMR experience preferred
  • Free parking available on-site
Requirements
  • Active RN license (Maryland or Compact) currently in hand
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience with a strong ICU background
  • Current Interventional Radiology (IR) experience required
  • Moderate sedation experience required
  • Experience at a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred
  • Critical Care Certification preferred
  • Trauma course completion preferred
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • At least 1 professional reference required for consideration

  • Perform image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures across a broad range of patient populations and conditions
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers
  • 15-week contract assignment
