Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 5+ years of experience and required travel experience for a single-plane Siemens IR suite.

Details
  • Interventional Radiology department
  • 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Currently operates a single-plane Siemens suite with planned 2027 upgrade to a biplane suite and additional single-plane room to expand vascular and neuro capabilities
  • Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
  • Travel experience required
  • BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required
  • License required if applicable
  • Required experience with single-plane Siemens IR suite
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
  • Proficiency in IR procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, biopsy, drain placement, and vascular access
  • Experience with fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS equipment
  • Skilled in sterile technique and maintaining sterile fields
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulating, and scrubbing to maintain sterile fields
  • Performs a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, and venous access procedures
  • Maintains equipment, manages inventory, and stocks supplies as needed
  • Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
  • Former staff must wait at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
