Responsibilities

As a General Radiologist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting basic Interventional Radiology procedures (thoracentesis, paracentesis, PICC Line preferred)
  • Performing 3D mammography and holding Automated Breast Ultrasound certification
  • Reading whole-body MRI with confidence
  • Handling General Nuclear Medicine (VA, HIDA, bone scan) with PET/CT (8-10 procedures)
  • Total number of readers: 130 - 175 exams (depending on ED volume)
  • Additional responsibilities include approximately 25-35 CT scans, 7-10 MRI, 12-15 mammography, and 15 ultrasound procedures
