Job Description:

Title: Travel RN - Cardiology

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience.
  • Current GA or Compact RN license required at time of submission.
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R or CCI RCIS.
  • Proficiency in cardiac cath/interventional procedures, EP lab knowledge, IABP placement/removal, and recognition/interpretation of dysrhythmias.
  • Experience as a scrub and room circulator with sterile technique and use of rapid response/code teams; equipment setup/maintenance.
  • Experience with the Epic charting system is required.

Compliance / Notes:

  • Non-billable orientation hours vary by contract length (e.g., 8 hours for an 8-week assignment).
  • Maximum 7 days request time off (RTO) per contract; all RTO must be finalized at submission.
  • If 1 major holiday falls during the assignment, expected to work it; if 2 major holidays, expected to work both; if 3, expected to work two.

Schedule:

  • Call: 5 weekdays and 1 weekend every 6 weeks.
  • Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed.
