Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification and experience in endovascular procedures.

Details
  • IR Lab setting within the Operating Room department
  • Top diagnoses include AAA, ischemic limb, and other vascular structure aneurysms
  • Top procedures include EVAR, TVAR, angiograms, and arteriograms
  • Uses IVUS, Philips, Siemens, Medrad, and SonoSite equipment
  • 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • May float to radiology IR as needed
  • No on-call requirements
Requirements
  • ARRT (R) or ARRT (IR) certification required
  • RCIS also accepted as an alternative credential
  • Current BLS certification from the AHA
  • License required if applicable
Additional Information
  • Perform interventional radiology procedures including EVAR, TVAR, angiographic studies, and arteriograms
  • Blue scrubs required as part of the dress code
  • Radius rule of 50 miles applies; local candidates within this radius are not accepted
  • Former Emory employees must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days if not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday, with only 1 holiday request allowed
