Key Responsibilities
  • Alternate between three distinct weekly rotations: outpatient care, inpatient services, and post-procedure follow-ups, ensuring a diverse experience in patient management.
  • During inpatient shifts, manage a typical caseload of 8 to 17 patients daily, involving activities such as rounding, conducting new consultations, and following up on existing cases.
  • Engage in both independent and shared clinic visits, with approximately 50% of the clinic time involving independent patient care, seeing an average of 8-10 patients per day.
  • Participate in shared clinical appointments with physicians, focusing on new patient assessments, pre-procedure consultations, and follow-up care, ensuring patients receive comprehensive services.
  • Conduct all virtual visits, leveraging technology for patient consultations and follow-up interactions, while working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday.
  • Maintain compliance with all safety and quality protocols, while demonstrating sensitivity to cultural diversity and patient rights.
  • Perform thorough evaluations and treatments of patients presenting with acute and chronic health concerns, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
  • Obtain detailed patient histories, conduct pertinent physical examinations, and assess both normal and abnormal findings for new and returning patients.
  • Order, collect, and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic evaluations as part of the patient assessment process.
  • Engage in procedural tasks as qualified, ensuring informed consent is obtained wherever necessary, and assisting physicians in the operating room as directed.
  • Manage documentation related to hospital admissions and discharges, ensuring compliance with regulations and facility requirements.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians on complex cases and enroll eligible patients in approved investigative studies.

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, offering care to individuals dealing with both acute and chronic health issues.
