Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neuro experience and at least 1 year of ARRT-certified IR experience for a hospital-based role.

Details
  • Work in the Interventional Radiology department of a hospital setting
  • Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM, Monday through Friday
  • Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
  • On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call technologists
  • 13 to 26 week assignment options available
  • May be required to float to other qualified units or campuses based on facility census needs
  • Uses PACS imaging equipment
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience required
  • Neuro experience required
  • ARRT-R certification required, ARRT-VI certification preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • SC Radiography State License required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
  • Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
  • Additional experience in NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures utilizing PACS equipment
  • Orientation is held every Monday, with annual compliance modules required for all travelers
