IR Interventional Radiology Technologist
$15,000 Sign On bonus - plus Lump Sum Relocation.
Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lakeway
Work Schedule: 4-10 Hour shifts with No Weekend Call
Baylor Scott & White Health Lakeway is a 131 bed, Full-Service hospital. The Medical Center is a certified primary stroke center, a certified chest pain center. Lakeway has achieved Magnet recognition for its nursing professionalism, teamwork and superiority in patient care.
Lakeway is located about 25 miles west of downtown Austin. Lakeway is ideally situated on the south shore of Lake Travis in the scenic Texas Hill Country. Procedures: Kyphoplasty, Port-a-Cath Placements, Biopsies, Cryoablations, Uterine Artery Embolization, Prostate Embolization, GI Bleed Embolization, Thrombectomy, Percutaneous Drain Placement, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Fistulagrams.
Electrophysiology - Pacemaker, Ablation, Cryo-ablation, Pulse Field Ablation, Paras and Thoras
Department: Interventional Radiology IR - 3 procedure suites. 2 GE fluoroscopy units (soon to be upgraded to Phillips), Siemens biplane system. 12 private room pre/post holding rooms.
Shift/Status: Full Time 4 shifts 7:00-5:30 No Call

Job Summary
The Interventional Radiology Technologist, under a Radiologist's supervision, performs interventional radiology procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients. These procedures are requested by a physician or licensed provider for diagnosing disease and injury, following established protocols.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
ARRT-R Radiography (ARRT-R): ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) is required.
Must be certified in one of the following within two years of hire: ARRT-CI Cardiac-Interventional (ARRT-CI), ARRT-CV Cardiovasc-Inter Rad (ARRT-CV), or ARRT-VI Interventional Rad (ARRT-VI).
ARRT Cardiac Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CI) or
ARRT Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI)
ARRT Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT-CV).
