Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist

A leading hospital in the Richmond metro area is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for inpatient and STEMI call coverage. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established cardiology team while providing high-level cardiovascular care in a busy hospital setting.

Location: Mechanicsville, Virginia Position: Locum Interventional Cardiologist

Emergency/Temporary Privileges Available

Adult & Geriatric Patient Population

EPIC EMR

Schedule

Weekday Coverage Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weeknight Call Monday – Friday 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekend Call Saturday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM

Potential rounding responsibilities included.

Practice Environment

250-Bed Hospital

30 ICU Beds

Work alongside an established Interventional Cardiology team

Average inpatient admissions: 2+ per day

More phone consults than in-person callbacks

STEMI activations occur regularly, with relatively low callback volume

Required Procedures

Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist

Active Virginia License

BLS & ACLS Certifications
