OBGYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Rowlett, TX!
Pediatrix Medical Group is partnering with Baylor Scott & White Lakepoint Medical Center to bring OBGYN hospitalist services to the vibrant suburban community of Dallas. We are excited to offer a per diem OB/GYN Hospitalist position, allowing you to work flexibly while making a significant impact on women's health.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide OB triage, admissions, and inpatient care.
  • Attend deliveries and see unassigned patients.
  • Cover the OB floor and provide ER consults for GYN emergencies.
  • Assist in surgeries, including cesarean sections.
  • Monitor fetal health and respond to emergencies during labor and delivery.
  • Collaborate with in-house neonatologists and NNPs in a Level III NICU.
  • Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists for high-risk pregnancies.
  • Utilize in-house anesthesiology services available 24/7.
  • Shifts are 24 hours in house.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN (not accepting Board Eligible candidates).
  • Texas medical license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) required.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience (not accepting inactive providers).
  • Minimum of 6 months of clinical experience within OB/GYN.
  • Completed Prescreen Questionnaire.
  • CV must be in MM/YYYY format with all gaps explained.
  • Self-Query NPDB within 30 days of submission.
  • Current home address, phone number, and email on the CV's first page.
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED)
