Shift

Swing shift, 12-hour shift, 6pm - 6am.

Main Responsibilities

  • Operate and properly maintain reverse osmosis water treatment equipment.
  • Responsible for pH and conductivity instrument maintenance and calibration.
  • Responsible for mechanical maintenance, plumbing, troubleshooting, and light electrical maintenance to include facility equipment, building services equipment, and process equipment.
  • Perform plumbing repairs using glued PVC, CPVC, welded polypro, steel plumbing, and flexible tubing and hose as required. Includes pump and motor troubleshooting, repair or replacement.
  • Responsible for light electrical repair such as fuses, lamps, and light machine wiring.
  • Maintain, document, manage and be responsible for shipping all hazardous and non-hazardous wastes as required.
  • Plan and perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment as needed.
  • Effectively respond to equipment failures to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze wastewater effluent and document compliance.
  • Requires standing as well as repeated lifting, bending, stretching, twisting and climbing ladders up to 15 ft.

Qualifications

  • Min. 2 years’ experience in related wastewater treatment position
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Current MA industrial wastewater treatment license grade 3I.
  • Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of local and national wastewater regulation and ordinance.
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 40 pounds frequently.

6pm-6am, swing shift schedule.
