Essential Functions:
o Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Omni standards, as required by scheduling which will vary according to the needs of the resort.
o Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing the proper attire/uniform and name tag when working.
o Inspects the cleaning and servicing of guestrooms.
o Inspects the cleanliness of guest hallways.
o Assigns special projects as directed by the Director of Housekeeping.
o Reports any needed repairs or discrepancies of guest rooms.
o Ensures that all GRAs have appropriate supplies and linens.
o Assists in the cleaning of guest rooms when necessary.
o Assists in processing AM and PM room status reports.
o Ensures that the GRA's linen cart is neat and well organized.
o Ensures that linen closets on guest room floors are completely stocked.
o Maintain all supply storage closets, neat and clean at all times.
o Must have all guest rooms punched in via the phone after completion.
o Ensure all guest room doors be held open with a door stopper when needed.
o Ensure VIP rooms must be inspected before noon.
o Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
o Ensure check-out rooms are a priority.
o Maintain daily knowledge of hotel, facilities and events.
o Participate and monitor the new hire training process.
o Ensure hotel, guest and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment.
Qualifications:
o Previous Housekeeping experience is preferred, with demonstrated leadership skills.
o Able to work with management on special projects.
o Must work with a strong attention to detail.
o Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English.
o Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
o Ability to stand for long periods of time, walk, push, pull, stoop, bend and lift items of moderate weight for an entire shift.
Working Environment:
o Interior of hotel with daily travel around property.
o Exposure to hazardous chemicals.
