Job Description Overview:
ASUS is seeking a Human Resources Intern with a strong interest in employee experience, programs, and event coordination. This internship is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and creative individual who wants hands-on exposure to HR initiatives that drive engagement and culture. The HR Intern will support the HR team in planning and executing employee programs, events, and key people initiatives while gaining foundational HR experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Support the planning and execution of employee programs, events, and engagement initiatives from concept to completion
  • Assist with logistics for corporate events, including vendor coordination, scheduling, communications, and on-site setup
  • Help create event materials such as presentations, communications, surveys, and recaps
  • Track program participation, feedback, and metrics to help improve future initiatives
  • Provide administrative support for HR programs such as training sessions, recognition programs, and internal campaigns
  • Contribute ideas to enhance employee experience and engagement
  • Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Creative thinking and interest in event planning or employee engagement
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take initiative

Qualifications:
  • Highschool Grade 11 and above
  • GPA 3.5+ or higher

Working Conditions:

$18.05/hour is an estimated pay range for this role working in Fremont, California office. The final amount will be determined based on the qualifications & experience of the candidate related to the role.
