Generally, Internships are almost expected by employers on an entry-level candidate’s resume. You are much more of an asset to an employer if you have some work experience.

What is an internship?

An internship is a temporary work experience program offered by employers to students or recent graduates. It provides hands-on training and exposure to a professional environment, allowing interns to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings. What types of projects or tasks can I expect to work on during an internship?

As an intern, you'll typically be assigned a variety of tasks that help you gain hands-on experience in your field of study. These might include assisting with ongoing projects, conducting research, supporting administrative tasks, and participating in team meetings. Interns often collaborate with experienced professionals who provide mentorship and guidance, and you'll have opportunities to contribute your ideas. The specific responsibilities will vary by company and industry, but the goal is to give you practical exposure and a better understanding of the workplace.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an intern, and why are they important?
