Team Overview
Global Banking & Markets - Public serves institutional clients across financial products, markets and regions, helping them execute transactions, access financing and manage risk. Client Management & Strategy partners with senior leaders across Sales, Trading, Strats and other areas of the firm to deepen relationships with the firm's largest and most complex clients. The team combines commercial judgment, client strategy and data-driven analysis to identify opportunities, improve market share and deliver the full capabilities of the firm.
Your Impact
As an Analyst, you will support strategic planning and commercial execution for priority institutional clients. You will transform financial and client data into clear insights, prepare executive-ready materials and coordinate across a broad stakeholder network. The role offers direct exposure to senior leaders, a strong apprenticeship environment and the opportunity to contribute to decisions that shape client engagement and business performance.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and execution of strategic business plans for priority clients across FICC and Equities.
  • Support Strategic Client Coverage / Senior Relationship Managers in executing day-to-day business strategies for significant clients.
  • Analyze revenue, sales credits, market share, client activity and product trends to assess performance and identify commercial opportunities.
  • Prepare concise, accurate and executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, dashboards and recurring performance updates for senior leadership.
  • Partner with Sales, Trading, Engineering, Operations and other teams to gather inputs, reconcile data and drive cross-functional initiatives.
  • Track priorities, actions and deliverables arising from client reviews and leadership discussions; escalate risks or dependencies promptly.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality and team workflows through standardization, automation and effective use of technology.
  • Support senior-client content and connectivity initiatives, including executive briefings, events and interactions with subject-matter experts.
  • Handle confidential client and business information with sound judgment and in accordance with firm policies and controls.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify key messages and form practical conclusions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and evolving AI tools with the ability to produce accurate analysis and polished presentations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborative, proactive and accountable working style, with sound judgment and a high degree of integrity.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with colleagues across functions, levels and regions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Interest in financial markets, institutional clients and sales and trading businesses.
  • Experience working with large datasets, financial metrics, dashboards or business intelligence tools.
  • Working knowledge of data visualization or automation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Alteryx, VBA, SQL or Python.
  • Prior internship or professional experience in financial services, consulting, analytics, strategy, business management or a related field.
  • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, commercial awareness and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
