Job description

Essential Functions
  • 1. Salaried Recruiting Lead: full‑cycle recruiting for salaried roles (e.g., supervisors, engineers, corporate positions). Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and recruiting strategies. Manage job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offers. Ensure consistent, high‑quality candidate experience. Drive improvements in time‑to‑fill and quality of hire.
  • 2. Recruiting Process, Compliance & Systems: Ensure recruiting activities comply with company policy and employment regulations. Maintain accurate and timely data in ATS/HRIS (Workday preferred). Reinforce consistent use of recruiting processes across hiring managers. Train leaders on interviewing practices, documentation, and system usage. Identify gaps and implement process improvements.
  • 3. Pipeline Development: Build relationships with trade schools, technical programs, and workforce partners. Develop pipelines for welders and other skilled hourly roles. Support hiring events, school outreach, and apprenticeship/internship programs. Partner with operations to align pipeline efforts with workforce needs. Contribute to strategies that promote internal movement into skilled roles.
  • 4. HR Team & Operational Support: Support HR team priorities as needed (e.g., onboarding, training coordination, projects, etc.). Partner with HR and business leaders on workforce planning initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and tools.
Qualifications
  • Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 3+ years of recruiting experience (corporate, agency, or blended); experience recruiting for salaried/professional roles; working knowledge of recruiting compliance and employment practices; strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Preferred: Manufacturing or industrial recruiting experience; experience hiring for skilled trades or technical roles; Workday experience with ATS/HRIS systems; bilingual (English/Spanish) capability helpful.
