The Opportunity

As an Application Specialist I, you will receive comprehensive training while working alongside experienced engineers and sales professionals. You will help customers identify the right solutions, prepare quotations, support projects, and gain hands-on experience with industry-leading technologies. What You'll Do
  • Prepare customer quotations and Requests for Quotation (RFQs)
  • Recommend standard product solutions based on customer application requirements (training provided)
  • Partner with outside sales representatives to develop customer solutions
  • Communicate with customers, manufacturers, and internal teams throughout the sales process
  • Maintain accurate customer and project information within our CRM system
  • Support order processing, delivery coordination, and project follow-up
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer solutions through complementary products and services
  • Develop technical knowledge of instrumentation, control valves, actuators, gas detection systems, and related process control technologies

Requirements:

Education

One of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, or related Engineering field
  • Bachelor's degree in Business with demonstrated technical aptitude
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
Experience
  • 0-2 years of professional experience
  • Internships, co-op programs, undergraduate research, or relevant technical coursework are highly valued
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus but not required
