Summary:
We are looking for a marketing and communications professional who is adept at working with a team to coordinate team projects, generate marketing material, assist with onsite marketing needs at our Detroit venue, and support the various groups within the marketing group as needed. The ideal candidate will be highly driven and organized, with a drive to step in wherever needed. They will have working knowledge of marketing basics and will be versed in the Microsoft office suite of tools. We expect our team to be versatile, collaborative, and creative in their approach to marketing.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and help organize projects as part of a larger team.

  • Conduct research on behalf of the venue marketing team, such as gathering information on competitors in the space, social media accounts related to partnerships, or information on the brand positioning of targets.

  • Assist the Venue Marketing Manager in Detroit with managing financial and legal workflows for venue-related needs.

  • Support the social media and marketing team by assisting with media capture, where necessary.

  • Coordinate the ordering and management of Cosm premium items in Detroit, in partnership with the lead Marketing team in Hollywood Park.

  • Help facilitate on-site activations and venue-related marketing needs at Cosm Detroit.

  • Assist the Venue Marketing Manager in Detroit with workflows related to Creative Services production of marketing materials.

  • Create marketing material for the internal teams as directed.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team leads to organize and create automated marketing messages across channels.

  • Host visits at the Detroit Venue for partner demos.

  • Help facilitate local influencer outreach.

  • Assist for general marketing tasks as dictated by leads and the Venue Marketing Manager in Detroit.

Experience:
  • Degree in project management, marketing, communications, or a similar field preferred.

  • Internship experience with a similar brand.

  • Experienced and skilled with MS Office tools.

  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to perform in stressful situations.

  • Excels within a team environment.
