Job description

Position Summary
Franklin Pierce University Athletics is seeking reliable and motivated game day workers to assist with the operation of home athletic events. Game day workers will support the Athletic Communications staff and other Athletics personnel to help ensure events run smoothly and professionally.
Responsibilities may include:

  • Assisting with live statistics and game day stat operations
  • Operating scoreboards, game clocks, or other event equipment
  • Assisting with livestream and broadcast production
  • Serving as public address announcer or assisting with music and in-game audio
  • Assisting with pregame and postgame setup and breakdown
  • Distributing statistics, rosters, and other game day materials
  • Providing general event support as assigned by Athletics staff
Qualifications:
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends based on the Athletics schedule
  • Knowledge of sports is preferred but not required
  • Previous experience with statistics, broadcasting, or athletic events is a plus, but training will be provided

Schedule:
Part-time, as needed. Hours will vary based on the Franklin Pierce Athletics home competition schedule and may include evenings and weekends.
