Summary
The Vendor Services Intern is responsible for supporting vendor management, service administration, and operational initiatives across the organization. This role assists with customer pricing development for fencing projects, vendor sourcing activities, service record maintenance, invoice auditing, and site data review. The Vendor Services Intern works closely with internal teams and external service providers to ensure accurate records, timely service execution, and consistent vendor performance while supporting day-to-day operational objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare customer pricing proposals and cost estimates for chain-link fencing opportunities.
  • Research, identify, and assist in onboarding qualified vendors in new, underserved, or specialized service markets.
  • Maintain and update vegetation service records, including service dates, vendor information, and site documentation.
  • Review vendor invoices for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with completed work and approved pricing.
  • Evaluate service documentation and site records to identify locations requiring vegetation maintenance or follow-up services.
  • Utilize internal systems and databases to manage site information, track service activity, and maintain accurate operational records.
  • Support special projects, reporting initiatives, and additional departmental activities as assigned.

Hourly Compensation: $15.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on competitive market data, experience, skillset and geographical location.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to work at least 10 hours per week.
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college, university, or technical school program.
  • Proficient utilizing computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and other related technology to access information, complete documentation, and communicate effectively.
