Job description

Job Summary – Vendor Managed Inventory Coordinator I
- Delivers and sets up inventory at customer-designated sites.
- Performs physical and administrative tasks for storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
- Checks goods distribution against purchase orders or invoices to ensure accuracy.
- Transports company cargo to customers.
- Conducts inventory tasks following local VMI processes.
- Assists onsite team by bringing materials to point-of-use (POU) areas and loading vending machines.
- Stocks cabinets and maintains inventory in customer’s designated areas.
- Follows customer orders from warehouse pick-up to delivery and setup at customer site.
- Takes and relays customer spot buy orders to appropriate personnel.
- Recommends inventory level changes to customers based on usage.
- Ensures all equipment used is clean and safe, reporting concerns to management.
- Assists with cleaning work areas and machines.
- Adheres to safety requirements (e.g., steel toe shoes) and dress code (jeans/khakis, t-shirt/polo).
- May lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Requires frequent walking in a large facility.
- Part-time, temp-to-hire role (Mon-Fri, 8:30am–2:30pm, ~30-35 hours/week).
