JOB DETAILS:
Position:Measurement/CMM Technician
JOB REF#:44873 - 1504594
Duration:12+ Months (On-going Contract)
Location:ONSITE - Georgetown, KY 40324
Pay Rate:$30.00 - $40.50 per hour (W2 Only)
** Must be LOCAL or willing to RELOCATE at your own expense**
** This is role is 100% ONSITE, no remote work offered**
Seibi Technician will support Stamping PE by measuring panels and dies using contact/non-contact measurement systems such as Atos scanners, Hexagon Absolute arm, Argus, and hand tool measurement, while utilizing PolyWorks for analyzing data output. They will report to the Engineering Manager, the person in this role will support the Stamping department s objective to ensure die and panel quality for current and future models.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Utilizing PolyWorks software with Blue light/ATOS/Faro operation experience (PolyWorks software is a must have)
Operating Atos Scanners
Hexagon measurement Arms
reports and color maps using PolyWorks and WinCMM of checking fixtures measurements of stamping dies, identify gaps to target.
Generating reports and color maps using PolyWorks and WinCMM
Modification of checking fixtures
Perform measurements of stamping dies, identify gaps to target.
Perform measurements of stamping panels and sub-assemblies to determine statistical stamped panel quality for accuracy and formability.
Perform measurements for PxP and nominal fit vehicle analysis, including digital PxP.
Uses technical expertise to analyze measurement data and make appropriate recommendations to Stamping PE and D/M on next steps.
ARGUS and understanding of FLD and sheet metal formability analysis
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma + 4 years of hands-on metrology experience, or Engineering degree + relevant co-op/internship experience.
Scanning experience
Experienced with Measurement Arm
Experienced with PolyWorks
Other Requirements:
25%: Travel - Domestic and International (able to obtain a US Passport)
5%: Over-time - which covers weekends, holidays, and shutdowns, when required
PPE: Will wear Steel Toed Shoes/Hard Hat and Safety Glasses
Interview Process:
1st VIRTUAL - MS Teams 30-45 HM and other manager
2nd ONSITE if they are local/ MS Team if non local 30-45 - HM and other manager
