About the Program:
Ace Electric's Summer College Internship Program offers college juniors/seniors the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced electrical construction environment. Interns work side-by-side with experienced professionals on active projects across our field, division offices, and preconstruction teams. This is more than an internship; it's the start of your career.


Internship Track:

  • Project Engineer (Assistant Project Manager)


What You'll Do:

  • Attend company-paid New Employee Safety Orientation (NESO) in Valdosta, GA
  • Complete OSHA 10 online training
  • Contribute to real-world tasks that align with the role you're training for
  • Support daily operations & assist with site-based and/or office-based special projects
  • Participate in an individual training plan with assigned mentor
  • Receive structured feedback through midterm and final evaluations
  • If travel is required, lodging and per diem will be provided


Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 20 years of age
  • Enrolled as junior/senior in a relevant degree program
  • GPA of 2.75 or higher preferred
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Willing and able to travel and relocate for internship
  • Strong communication, work ethic, and professional commitment
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
  • Must pass background check, motor vehicle report, and drug screen
  • Clean criminal history and no DUI convictions
  • Two personal (non-relative) references and one professional or academic reference required
