Internship Vape Tester information

What is an internship vape tester?

An Internship Vape Tester is a temporary, entry-level position where individuals sample and evaluate various vape products, such as e-liquids and devices, to provide feedback on flavor, vapor production, and overall quality. The role often involves documenting experiences, reporting any issues, and ensuring products meet safety and regulatory standards. This internship is typically offered by vape companies or product manufacturers who are seeking real-user input to improve their offerings before launching to a wider market.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an internship vape tester?

To thrive as an Internship Vape Tester, you generally need a keen sense of taste and smell, attention to detail, and an understanding of product safety standards, often supported by a background in quality assurance or product testing. Familiarity with laboratory testing equipment and data recording systems is typically required, as well as knowledge of relevant health regulations. Strong observational skills, clear communication, and the ability to provide objective feedback help candidates stand out in this position. These skills and qualities are important to ensure accurate product evaluations and to maintain consumer safety and satisfaction.

What is the difference between Internship Vape Tester vs Entry-Level Vape Product Reviewer?

AspectInternship Vape TesterEntry-Level Vape Product Reviewer
CredentialsHigh school diploma or equivalent; basic knowledge of vaping productsHigh school diploma or equivalent; interest in vaping
Work EnvironmentVape labs, testing facilities, or company officesRemote or in-person reviews, online platforms
Industry UsageUsed by vape companies for product testing and quality controlUsed by bloggers, influencers, and review sites to evaluate products

While both roles involve evaluating vaping products, an Internship Vape Tester typically focuses on hands-on testing within a company environment, often as part of an internship program. An Entry-Level Vape Product Reviewer usually creates content or reviews online, focusing on consumer opinions. The internship provides practical testing experience, whereas the reviewer emphasizes content creation and consumer feedback.

What kinds of evaluations and reporting are expected from an internship vape tester during a typical week?

As an Internship Vape Tester, you will typically be expected to evaluate multiple vape products each week, focusing on aspects such as flavor profile, vapor production, device ergonomics, and overall user experience. You will document your findings in detailed reports, often using standardized evaluation forms or digital platforms provided by the company. Collaboration with product development and quality assurance teams is common, as your feedback directly informs product improvements. Additionally, you may participate in team meetings to discuss trends or recurring issues observed during testing.

  • Attend design and construction meetings and help document discussions and action items.
  • Assist with basic project coordination tasks.
  • Assist with technical report writing and data organization.
  • Provide drafting and design support for contract documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit.

  • Construction site experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, drawings, and specifications is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit.
  • Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Building Science OR 2+ years of relevant work experience.
